Established with a vision to create an inclusive and supportive environment, the organization works tirelessly to raise awareness, provide resources, and offer a safe haven for individuals facing discrimination based on their sexual orientation or gender identity.
VISION
Arcoiris Timor Leste exists to advocate and promote equal human rights for all, to support the establishment of an integrated LGBTIQ+ policy framework & to implement programs that improve the lives of Lesbian, Bi-sexual women & Trans men community members in Timor-Leste.

NEW INITIATIVES
Arcoiris Timor Leste has entered into 1 year agreement with INDIGO Foundation
For the purpose of strengthening Arcoiris' work and bring fresh ideas, add skills and knowledge to its associated members and allies. Through this project, we expect to create better opportunities towards visibility of organizational work, skills & knowledge and provide platforms for sharing. We aim to improve access to resources and bring greater impact of organizational work. This will encompass strengthening LGBTIQ+ mobilization; socialization of key stakeholders on human rights and SOGIESC; creating safe space for sharing & learning for the community i.e., skill learning workshop; expansion of LGBTIQ+ and allies network; organize Rainbow advocacy activities for giving visibility to the community having talents or facing challenges.
Arcoiris Timor Leste has entered into 1 year partnership with Outright International
It aims to strengthen the LGBTIQ movement, guidance, skills, and mentoring must amplify voices, highlight vulnerabilities, and demand equality and safety. Internet access fosters global belonging, self‑acceptance, and visibility, while education and support ensure safe engagement. Members have the right to connect authentically, breaking stereotypes about identity and lifestyle. Empowerment should evolve across societal levels. Arcoiris Shelter continues to provide a safe haven, offering essential services that improve socio‑economic conditions, physical health, and mental well‑being.
